I believe everything posted was actually very reasonable. But, what about this? suppose you wrote a catchier title? I am not saying your content is not solid., but what if you added a headline to possibly grab a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda boring. You ought to look at Yahoo's front page and note how they create news titles to grab people to click. You might try adding a video or a related pic or two to grab readers interested about everything've got to say.
